  • Its easy to become overwhelmed and frustrated when managing numerous situations. For this reason, it is important to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

  • Living a healthy balanced life involves 3 main aspects. Firstly, it involves feeding our spirit from the word of God, which gives us a better understanding of who we are, whose we are and what we need to do. Secondly, it will involve feeding our body the nutrients it requires so that we become less worn, exhausted and overwhelmed. We are able to physically handle all of our tasks. Thirdly, living a healthy, balanced life requires the right fuel for our mind which produces positivity and reduces stress. These three points of feeding spirit, body and mind, leads to us being able to fulfill our God given purpose efficiently and effectively.

How to get started with Living A Healthy Balanced Life

  • I will say that getting started is DO-ABLE not easy. The first step on this journey is to become A Woman After God’s Own Heart. Everything we do must start with God. Our next step, is to build on that foundation to become successful at living a more healthy balanced life.

    • The most common answer is 8 glasses. the truth is, our weight, amount of activity and factors like temperature have an effect on the amount of water we should consume. the basic calculation uses our weight in pounds divided by 2 which fives us a baseline for the amount of water we should have in ounces.
  • Which is better, juicing or blending?
    • There are pros and cons to both methods. Juicing removes the fiber. This gives the body a much needed rest from the work of digestion along with magnifying the absorption of the nutrients being consumed. Blending keeps the fiber. Unfortunately, too much fiber may cause bloating, gas, stomach cramps to name a few.
  • How much exercise do I need daily?
    • The Canadian Society For Exercise Physiology states the following: Healthy adults aged 18-64 should perform at least 150 minutes of moderate to vigorous intensity aerobic physical activity per week, in 10 minute bouts or more.
